A one hour plus mix of Chicago House classics, featuring 15 tracks that hail predominantly from Chicago, or were fundamental in the development of early House music scene.

About DJI started DJ-ing almost twenty years ago whilst studying at university, where along with one off parties and guest slots in various clubs & raves, playing House and Balearic Beats, I also co-hosted a weekly radio show. A move to London in 1993 saw me guesting at more events & venues, but over-commercialisation equalled disillusionment, so I hung up the headphones to pursue other interests. I recently returned to the decks however, inspired by some of the new ‘Cosmic’ melodic sounds emanating from Northern Europe. I continue to play two distinct styles/tempos. The slower-mid tempo Balearic vibes being ideal for bars & ‘warming up’ a dancefloor, the more up-tempo House & Club Classics being great to get the floor really rocking. For longer sets I combine both thus creating a journey with ups & downs along the way.
